Ric Jilla secures financing for Upgrade Music (Ric Jill's label). He recently took a trip to Miami, Florida as a means to promote his forthcoming Legion Records release as well as his Upgrade Music Venture (which is separate). On a different note, Ric Jilla's last album Upgrade has caused some tension for Gary, Indiana rap group MCGz. Apparently the commotion derives from a beat used both on Jill's album and MCGz latest album Second Coming. Hit of the MCGz explained his side of the situation recently to ChiBangin.com in his interview on ChiBangin.com Presents “Behind The Scenes” DVD. Ric Jilla currently stays busy working on his own upcoming project, while still dropping verses and appearances with fellow Legion label mates Do Or Die. Keep an eye out for Hammond 's own to keep mixing it up with Chi-Town and holding it down for the Midwest .
