C hicago Rap influences numerous rappers across the Midwest and now finds itself infecting a rapper in the state of Colorado by the name of Mizphit. Similarities such as his rapid fire flow and dark gangsta style production appears throughout Mizphit's new album “Symphony of Shadows Vol. 1” (preview audio here). Tracks from the project such as ‘Finta Hit'em Like' and ‘Ride 2 Dis' (currently in rotation on ChiBangin Radio) instantly allows listeners to draw comparisons to some of Chicago's speedy flow masters like Do or Die, D-Fly and C.O.G. Mizphit himself along with various in-house producers, manage to capture a dark, at times quite eerie feel to the album which associates a sound in songs most known by one of Mizphit's Chi-Town influences, PsychoDrama.

While paying homage from Colorado to Chicago in the form of music, Mizphit finds himself dedicated to making quality music as a solo artist through his company Mizphit Productions. Prior to dropping “Symphony of Shadows”, he also hit the mixtape scene with “Mizphit Mixtape Vol. 1” already circulating in various record stores and on the internet (download mixtape here).
