Color 1 invades the mixtape scene for a third time with Chicago Thug Times Vol. 3. This series has boasted a huge variety of songs ranging from rare Chi-Town classics, to industry beats flipped upside down left with only the newest windy city vocals attached. Color One explains what to expect for the new upcoming Chicago Thug Times: “It got the Ward on there, Twista featured on there. It's a lot of old and brand new unheard songs on there. It's like all the industry shit and couple new cuts. Its gon' be my history on that CD. Everything I did off the first two Thug Times will be on this new one, plus some new shit.”

As with many Chicago rappers, Color One has very significant historical value in the realm of Chicago Rap. “I'm the founder of the whole Mats Cru. And the Mats Cru consisted of No Pity, The Movement Qualo, Twista and the Speedknot Mobstaz movement, PsychoDrama, Triple Darkness all them,” he proudly states. To have capabilities as a leader surrounded by mass amounts of talent since years back, it's great to see history repeating itself now in 2005 with Color One's new Chicago Thug Times Vol. 3.
